The Child Accident Prevention Trust is working to make Denmark the safest country in Europe for children. Children will always fall and get hurt – that’s how they learn to understand their bodies. The Danish Cyclists’ Federation and HF Christiansen are almost the same age. From the very beginning in 1905, the Cyclists’ Federation worked to establish cycle paths and other improvements for cyclists in Denmark, and it is only natural for a bicycle manufacturer like HF Christiansen to support the Cyclists’ Federation.

Danish Hospital Clowns bring smiles and joy to children’s wards in Danish hospitals. But the clowns must also be skilled at understanding each child they meet. An important part of their work is opening up conversations with children about difficult topics.

LittleBigHelp is an organization that fights to help people in India who do not have the same access to human rights, healthcare, and educational opportunities as we do in countries like Denmark. Every year, LittleBigHelp hosts a charity auction, which we naturally support.

Save the Children works to give children a better life in Denmark and around the world. In disaster areas, they provide food, water, and medicine. They also create child-friendly spaces in refugee camps. In Denmark, they help children living in poverty by organizing holiday camps and experiences so they have something positive to look forward to. They work to prevent bullying in schools and institutions and fight all forms of violence and sexual abuse against children.

The Danish Road Safety Council has worked for decades to improve safety in Danish road traffic. As early as 1934, one of the organisation’s first campaigns involved painting bicycle rear mudguards white to make them more visible. A few years ago, Stig Nicolaysen’s adult son Max was diagnosed with lymphoma. To set a goal outside the hospital room, the two cycling enthusiasts agreed that Max would drive the support car for Stig in the 2016 edition of the world’s toughest non-stop cycling race, Race Across America. Stig Nicolaysen rides in support of the Danish Children’s Cancer Foundation.

The Danish Red Cross Youth works to support vulnerable children and young people in Denmark. This especially includes young people struggling with loneliness, substance abuse, poverty, and violence. That’s why the Danish Red Cross Youth strives to strengthen their self-confidence, so they have a dose of optimism to stand strong with.
